The Gaston Express, LLC is looking for reliable Delivery Driver Helpers to assist our drivers with delivering packages to customers. TGEL is run by seasoned AMAZON DSP Professionals, all with a combined 20 years of experience in this business. We are a locally owned Amazon Delivery Service Partner committed to excellent customer service, teamwork, and a safe work environment.

As a Driver Helper, you will ride alongside a delivery driver, assist with loading and organizing packages, and deliver packages to customers. This is an active role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying moving, and being part of a team. You will start and end your day at delivery station DSW5 in Lakewood .

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Organize packages so deliveries can be completed efficiently.
• Deliver packages weighing up to 50 pounds safely and accurately.
• Follow customer delivery instructions and use delivery devices as trained.
• Interact with customers and the public professionally and courteously.
• Work collaboratively with your driver and other team members.
• Follow company safety procedures and report injuries, unsafe conditions, or delivery issues promptly.

This is a helper position. Driving the delivery vehicle is not part of the role and a driver’s license is not required.

Schedule:

FT is 4 days a week. We are currently hiring for multiple 4-Day Schedules. Your 8-10hr shift will start around 11:20am . If you are a nite owl who likes sleeping in, then this is the job for you.

 

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old at the time of employment and possess a positive, customer-first attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening (marijuana / THC is okay).
• A valid form of identification and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds .
• Ability to walk, climb stairs, and repeatedly enter and exit a delivery vehicle throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• 100% Reliable attendance, punctuality, and dependable transportation to our Lakewood station.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
