Live-In Caregiver OpportunityDovida – Jacksonville is seeking a caring, reliable, and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to support a client with daily living needs in the comfort of their home.We're looking for someone who values building meaningful connections, respects each client's individual needs, and takes pride in providing attentive, person-centered care.Live-In Schedule & AccommodationsThis position follows a 4-days-on, 3-days-off schedule, rotating with a second Dovida caregiver. This arrangement helps maintain consistent care for the client while giving each caregiver dedicated time off.During your scheduled live-in days, accommodations include:Private bedroom within the client's homeShared bathroomShared kitchen and common living spacesA comfortable living environment that supports personalized, attentive careAbout the PositionAs a Live-In Caregiver, you'll provide daily assistance and companionship while helping the client maintain comfort, safety, and independence at home. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, following an individualized care plan, and communicating effectively with the care team and family.What You'll DoAssist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygieneSupport mobility and activities of daily livingPrepare nutritious meals and encourage proper hydrationHelp with light housekeeping and laundry related to client careProvide companionship and participate in meaningful daily activitiesOffer medication reminders as directedFollow the client's care plan and report changes in condition or needsMaintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environmentCommunicate relevant updates and concerns to the care team and family members as appropriatePlease note: This position includes daytime caregiving and an overnight presence.
