Physical Therapist – Pediatric Inpatient / Outpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 or 26 weeks, traveler's choice) | Days | 4x10 or 5x8 schedule (traveler's choice) | Onsite | Approximately 1–2 weekend shifts per month expected | Traveler must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment services within a pediatric inpatient and outpatient setting
• Deliver patient care using Epic electronic health records for documentation and charting
• Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled (approximately 1–2 shifts per month)
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby as needed to meet facility demands
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to start date and annually thereafter

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Alaska (pending license accepted at time of submission; license must be in hand for offer — estimated 10–12 weeks to obtain)
• Pediatric physical therapy experience required
• Willingness to work weekends and 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• 2 references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Hepatitis B vaccine required; titers and declinations are not accepted
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
• All requested time off must be disclosed and included at the time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience charting in Epic
• Experience in an acute hospital or Magnet-designated facility
• Familiarity with Level II Trauma environments
